We will be riding Sycamore Canyon (about 30 min north on 215 from Temecula/Murrieta). If you've never been to Sycamore but enjoy trails similar to Vail Lake or Hogbacks you'll love it.
We will meet at Jensen in Riverside
1615 Eastridge Ave
Riverside, CA 92507
Distance: ~12 miles
Pace: Social Pace
Length: ~ 2 - 2.5 hours
Skill Level: Intermediate
Ride Organizer: Rex Roberson
Lights: Required
Trail: For those new to Sycamore this is a pretty straight forward full loop around the park with a few extras thrown in for fun. The trails are mostly hardpack and allow for some fast riding. The route consists of many single tracks that all connect back to a main fire road loop. We'll head down to the bottom then climb back up on the other side of the canyon.
This trail is a lot of fun for intermediate beginners due to the number of bailouts available through fire roads and can be even more fun for more advanced riders via single tracks found deeper within the canyon. We will determine trail difficulty selection during the ride depending on the skill level of all riders in the group.
Refer to IVMTB guidelines for trail difficulty ratings: http://www.ivmtb.org/ride-guidelines/
